About the event
Learning goals for this 2-day event:
1. Identify symptoms of dissociation & complex PTSD & be knowledgeable about diagnostic tests.
2. Initiate ego state treatment & teach & install affect regulation strategies.
3. Prepare client for trauma processing using a protective protocol that can be used with or without EMDR.
4. Incorporate EMDR adaptations to facilitate stabilization, orient DD clients to the present, & decrease negative transferences.
5. Identify situations where reenactments & countertransference are occurring, & use EMDR or an IFS process to deal with their countertransference reactions.
